Delete your Recess Block account

You can delete your Recess Block account at any time. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Recess Block and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email support@therecessblock.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you, delete the account within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account, email address and profile, including any information about your children
• Your posts, listings, giveaways, events and comments
• Your conversations, including the messages in them. The other person in each conversation will no longer see it either.
• Your borrowing and giving requests, saved places, blocks, and the reports you filed

What we keep

• Reports other members filed about your account, with your personal details removed, so moderators can keep the community safe
• A limited record of moderation actions
• Backup copies, which are overwritten within 30 days

If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Recess Block's access to your Apple ID.
